Last night was another night to remember. T just turned 70… divided by 2, as seen in this photo:

Yesterday, we came up with a scenario to surprise him (again… ‘coz last year, we also made a surprise party for him), only this time, we just wanted to have a surprise greeting. G asked me to stay in the office, while the rest goes outside, and comes in after T has arrived (in the office). I dunno if I’m allowed to say this, but T was really gloomy yesterday. He even mumbled, “I thought we’re having a dinner tonight. Looks like I just have to go home…”, or something like that. The doorbell rang, he was sitting on a swivel chair, and I was standing, doing some whiteboard stuff. Obviously, it should be me who’s supposed to open the door (because I’m standing). Knowing G’s plot, I forced T to open / answer the door. I hope T could forgive me for saying this, but he kinda looked pissy that time, and I know it’s my fault. But once the birthday cake came in, with his colleagues singing “Happy Birthday” to him, T started giving me fake punches. Mission: Surprise 2 is successful!
