Ely Buendia Rushed to the Hospital
I saw this shocking report from ABS-CBNNews.com. Just when I thought the concert will finally commence.
Ely Buendia rushed to hospital; Eraserheads concert cut short
Shake that Groove Thang! 2nd Edition.
Another pride of the Pinoys, just recently, a group of young UP Fine Arts students won an Asia-wide viral video contest sponsored by Sony Ericsson.
Here is the winning video. Manny-Pacquiao-screaming-like-a-girl, and people-making-crazy-ways-just-to-hide-from-the-”blast” scenes included! Totally viral!
I don’t only feel so honored that we Filipinos are represented by a bunch of UP kids who not only stood out among all contenders, but also am proud that the Philippine entry is the only professional-looking vid (very good cinematography, editting, camera angles, lighting, not to mention better actors! Even the kid was kicking ass there!) among all that’s posted under the YouTube video’s owner channel. The Thailand entry would’ve been a good contender, but only the Philippine entry, without bias, has the every-second-has-a-moment formula in it, making it uber-viral.
You can see other “viral” videos from Sony Ericsson’s “Shaking Things Up” YouTube Channel.
“I Am Rich” Walkthrough
I got this funny video from The Unofficial Apple Weblog. Enjoy!
I saw the news that eight people purchased the same app. Then I had a thought, which I gladly shared in iPhoneMatters.com, that since only a handful of people downloaded (and painfully stripped a gran from their pockets) “I Am Rich”, it could be worth a fortune to sell their iPhones with the installed app, making it a rare item. Suddenly, purchasing “I Am Rich” became a blessing.
What do you guys think?
But I Am Not Dumb…
Of course this silly app has been posted a gazillion times in the net, but it’s still worth blogging. Meet the uber-ridiculous “I Am Rich” iPhone application.

Yep, that image is never photoshopped. The author of this app told the press, “The red icon on your iPhone or iPod touch always reminds you (and others when you show it to them) that you were able to afford this.”. The silliest pitch you could use for an application. IMO, you can bring it to the level of those ridiculously expensive but kind of worthless, bragging-rights-giving, applications / software like Microsoft Windows Vista.
I may not be able to afford this app ‘coz I flaunt that I Am NOT Rich. I’m not dumb too. That’s a lot of things missing from me that I could brag about.
iPhone 3G Coming to the Philippines
Kirei feels threatened! Kirei feels threatened!
Globe has recently announced its pricing plans for the iPhone 3G package. Here are some screenshots from the website itself.

I think I can get the Plan 2199 one. If I have enough money, maybe I’ll get the 16GB one. But there’ve been a bunch of heat problems posted in the internet lately, like this one.
Should Kirei be threatened then? Errr… not really. I still need her for my “Prepaid Ventures”.
